Guarantee Because of my confidence in the quality of the prints sold through this web site, I guarantee your satisfaction with all prints purchased. If you are unsatisfied for any reason with the original print, please return it, carefully packed, in original condition within 10 days of receipt and I will gladly replace the print with another print of equal value. Unfortunately, I cannot refund any shipping charges you may incur in sending the print back to me. To this day I have had a 100% satisfaction rate. I am offering this guarantee based on my understanding that images viewed on the internet cannot, by their very nature, match an original print. I want you to be completely satisfied with your print purchase, so each order is treated as a custom request for a unique photographic image and is printed with careful consideration to present you with a beautiful print that you will be proud to display. Please read our Return Policy before returning any print.
Photograph Descriptive All prints are personally printed by myself, Craig Wells, using traditional photographic darkroom methods and techniques with the prints being made on silver gelatin photographic paper. Almost all of my "standard sized" prints (i.e. 8"x10", 11"x14" & 16"x20") are dry mounted on 14"x18", 16"x20" or 22"x28", 4 ply white archival mount board and include a matching 4 ply bevel-cut window overmat. Those prints that are not "standard" size are clearly indicated on the individual photograph page as to the approximate print size and actual mount and matting size. All prints are prepared to meet archival standards. The print sizes indicated at the top of this page are only approximations, they are the measurements prior to final trimming and mounting. Actual print sizes may vary depending on the particular image for maximum appeal and are the size before the final trimming. Each print is signed and numbered accordingly.
If you are purchasing a framed print, the frames are narrow edged (3/8") aluminum manufactured by Nielsen or Alumaframe and silver in color. The silver colored frame is used most often in galleries and museums and is my primary choice. It is a neutral color that neither detracts or competes with the image. If you wish to make another choice for your framed print, contact me and we'll work out the details. I
use
"Acrylite
AR" (a Plexiglas product) instead of glass for my framed prints.
It is half the weight of glass and will resist shattering in the event
of an accidental fall. On the outward facing side there is a Abrasion
and Chemical Resistant coating which is perfect for frequent cleaning and/or
constant public contact, yet the Acrylite retains its perfectly clear "glass"
appearance. You can visualize this Abrasion and Chemical Resistant
coating like a micro thin layer of glass laminated on one side of the Plexiglas.
It will not scratch like traditional Plexiglas with frequent cleanings,
it cleans as if it were glass.
An order cannot be canceled once the photograph has entered the printing process. Each photographic print request (order) is considered a special order and is treated as such by the custom printing, mounting and matting of each photograph for every single customer. |
